Our Approach to Model Village

SSEG emphasises on systematic and scientific planning before initiating process for shaping up a typical village into ‘Model Village’. However, primary requirement for adopting village is to get suitable Facilitator (as per eligibility given under about us) from the proposed village. He has to work under the guidance of experts on different fields of Agriculture, Rural Development, Health, Livelihood, etc. and provide them field support by seeking cooperation of villagers in holding meeting, undertaking specific task as per instructions issued.

Household Survey, to be conducted by Facilitator, will provide basic information to draw micro planning while information collected through ‘Key Infrastructure Format’ will help in identifying infrastructure gaps in the village. It will help in seeking cooperation of line departments to channelize centrally or state sponsored schemes implemented by respective departments. For those activities which can’t be provided under any scheme of the government, SSEG will explore financial assistance under CSR and/or raise fund from other sources like donation, public contributions, villagers support etc. Most important approach is to seek active participation of villagers under its unique system. In nutshell, SSEG will empower Facilitators to act proactively by infusing knowledge base, technical and financial support as per project formulated under CSR funding.

Agency/Individual who specialise any field and feel that its replication will be beneficial to other villages. may like to be empanelled with SSEG so that their services may be pooled and channelised. NGOs who are interested in contributing their services may also like to associate with SSEG.
