PREAMBLE FOR SSEG Members

Dishonesty never sustain. SSEG scheme has been designed with the heart-felt needs of providing long-term and sustainable self-employment to the under-Graduates/Graduates/Post Graduates at ward/colony/GP/village level in the field of socio-economic/ market survey, research and development activities. This service sector is valued significant to the development of the nation, therefore, all its members must carry true spirit in their mind and personality.

To derive maximum benefits from the scheme, it is essential that these services are treated as universally accepted highest moral and of ethical standards.

With a view to achieve this objective Innovative Research and Development Agency Pvt. Ltd. (IRDA) has framed a "Code of Ethics" which is mandatory for all members of SSEG to follow.

SSEG presupposes that every member of SSEG is basically a law abiding, honest, straight forward, non-malicious, non-vindictive, fair and just, impartial, selfless and trust worthy citizen of the country. In addition, the associates must follow professional practice.

RESPONSIBILITES AND COMPETENCY FOR SSEG MEMBERS

Each Member of SSEG shall:

  • Ensure that his professional services safeguards and enhances satisfaction level in the services they offer.
  • Ensure that his professional service upholds the principles of environmentally sustainable development.
  • Refrain from expressing in public an opinion on a professional subject unless sufficiently informed on the facts relating to the subject.

Responsibility to Profession:

Each Member of SSEG shall:

  • Uphold at all times, the dignity, standards and reputation of the profession/ position.

Competence: 
Each Member of SSEG shall:

  • Maintain knowledge and skill at levels consistent with the development in technology, legislation and management, and apply due skill, care and diligence in the services rendered to the client.
  • Refrain from performing any service unless competent to perform.

INTEGRITY OF MEMBERS UNDER SSEG

Each Member of SSEG shall:

  • Act at all times in the legitimate interest of the scheme and perform professional services with integrity and faithfulness.
  • Act with fairness and justice in all matters pertaining to responsibilities performed.
     

Impartiality 
Each Member of SSEG shall:

  • Be impartial in his professional advice, judgment or design.
  • Inform the client of any potential conflict of interest that might arise in the performance of the work.

RELATIONS WITH MEMBERS UNDER SSEG

Relation with others:

Each Member of SSEG shall:

  • Not directly or indirectly, injure or attempt to injure the professional reputation, practice or prospects of other fellow professional/associates.
  • Not associate in work with a professional who does not conform to the ethical practices laid down in the code.
  • Not try to intervene in work of any kind, which to his knowledge has already been entrusted to another member.
  • Not review or take over the work of another member for the same client, except with the consent of other member, unless he has been notified in writing by the client that such engagement of the work, which is the subject of review, has been terminated.

Relations with Clients

Each Member of SSEG shall:

  • Not disclose/share confidential information concerning assignments or technical processes of client without his consent.

Job Procurement 
Each member of SSEG shall:

  • Not misrepresent his qualifications and experience to a client or to the public.
  • Not induldge in any activity which are derogatory to the dignity of the profession.
